MY STORY

Hi, I’m Trisha! I’m the founder of Act Natural, a visual space where I share holistic health and wellness through design. I’m a Content Designer at Microsoft, University of Washington graduate, and most recently— a Cornell University student getting certified to become a Health and Mindset Coach.

I want to keep it real on Act Natural. Your body, mental health, and goals are personal. I share evidence-backed tips to help you take the next steps towards optimal health and wellbeing. You’ve come to the right place if you’d like to hear tips about:

  • building long-term healthy habits

  • healthy recipes to benefit your gut health and microbiome

  • mindset tips and universal laws

  • balance (why rest days and going out to be social can be just as important to your health as the hard gym day!)

I source information from best-selling authors, health experts, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and my own personal experience —no snake oil here.

Act Natural’s lifestyle tips are designed for people on-the-go—to help you find even 5 minutes to invest in your body and mind. I’m a big believer in “atomic habits”—changes that seem small and unimportant at first will add up into amazing results over time.

I believe that health is your luxury–something to invest in for the long-term. For a few years, I found myself in between two extremes of “health.” As a competitive runner in high school, I experienced years of restrictive dieting while running 40 miles per week. I even had multiple stress fractures as a result of not fueling my body. As a freshman in college, my experience was on the opposite extreme—going out frequently with poor self care. Both experiences made me feel lost, lonely, and disconnected to my body.

Within the last year, I’ve experienced a major mind, body, and soul glowup through mindset shifts and holistic health. Discovering my passion for health, I stepped out of my comfort zone and started sharing my health journey online— so Act Natural began.

I hope that Act Natural can feel like a retreat on the internet- where you can find wellness tips for just a bit more mindfulness, body confidence, and productivity to get it done. Here, I want to make often complex health topics easy to relate to—like talking to a friend <3

Health is an inside job, but you don’t have to work alone. Let’s thrive together.

XO,

Trisha
